A message from our Chair, Kathy Doran
There have been significant changes in our Executive Team over the last 12 months as people retired or moved to new roles. Circumstances at the time meant we were not in a position to make substantive appointments to those roles, as there was a possibility that we would become part of a hospital group.
Now that our future status as a standalone foundation trust has been confirmed, we can begin recruiting and appointing a substantive Executive Team. This will involve an open and competitive recruitment process to ensure we appoint the very best person for each role.
The first stage of this process will be to recruit our substantive Chief Executive. We expect to advertise this position in the next few weeks. Over subsequent months, we will recruit to other roles currently held on an interim basis. We will also recruit a new Chief Nurse to succeed Julie Gray who is retiring. We aim to complete the recruitment process by the end of the summer.
