We offer free parking to our patients and their visitors in our dedicated patient and visitor car parks at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre - Wirral (CCC-Wirral). These car parks are only for patients of The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and their visitors. They are not open to people visiting other hospitals in Clatterbridge Health Park.
Our free parking is not changing but you need to be aware of some important changes to other car parks on the Clatterbridge Hospital and Clatterbridge Health Park site from 1 July 2026:
- From 1 July 2026, Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH) is introducing automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) on the Clatterbridge Hospital and Clatterbridge Health Park site.
- ANPR cameras will be placed on their visitor and staff car parks. Barriers to these car parks will be removed. Anyone who parks in an area that is not controlled by The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre will need to pay the correct parking fee to avoid an automatic fine.
- Car parks not controlled by The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre will be clearly colour coded in blue (for patients and visitors) and orange (for staff).
- CCC-Wirral patients and their visitors will need to use The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre's dedicated patient and visitor parking to qualify for free parking and avoid a fine.
