Welcome

We are delighted that you are choosing to do your training with us here at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust. Many of you will have been here before and we are so pleased to welcome you back.

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s leading cancer centres providing highly specialist cancer care to a population of 2.4m people across Cheshire and Merseyside, and the surrounding areas, including North Wales and the Isle of Man.

During your time here, you will gain exposure to our three specialist cancer centres in Liverpool city centre, Wirral and Aintree. We also operate specialist chemotherapy clinics in district hospitals across Cheshire and Merseyside and deliver a pioneering Treatment at Home service.

We greatly value the hard work and dedication of all our training doctors. You are an important part of our staff and service to inpatients. We want to hear of your experiences during your time at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. As such, please find the time to attend our Junior Doctor Forums and feedback to the Medical Education Leads. This will allow us to continue improving our quality standards.

We hope that your training at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is enjoyable and you will join us in our continuous drive to improve patient care.

Please explore this website and feel free to contact us or contact the Medical Education Team with any questions.
