Our new Paddington Village Car Park is now open, providing ample free & convenient patient parking just a short distance from Clatterbridge Cancer Centre - Liverpool. From Friday 1st April 2022, we will no longer have any free patient parking spaces in Mount Pleasant: if you park in Mount Pleasant on or after 1st April 2022, you will be charged the usual public rate.

About Paddington Village Car Park

Paddington Village Car Park, Smithdown Lane, Liverpool provides ample free parking for patients visiting Clatterbridge Cancer Centre - Liverpool and is just a short distance from the hospital. There is also a free, wheelchair-accessible shuttle bus between the car park and the hospital for anyone who prefers not to walk (face coverings required unless exempt). For free parking: Get your car park ticket validated at the hospital's main reception desk before returning to the car park. Then insert your validated ticket at the exit barrier of the car park.

Level 9 of Paddington Village is reserved for patients, disabled parking and electric vehicle (EV charging points). Additional parking is available on Levels 10-12 if Level 9 is full. Just bring your car park ticket to the main reception desk in the hospital to get it validated for free parking.

Why we are leaving Mount Pleasant Car Park

We were only using Mount Pleasant Car Park as a temporary measure until the new Paddington Village Car Park opened. Paddington Village Car Park is closer to the hospital so it's much more convenient for most people. It's a brand-new car park with excellent security and is easily accessible for people with disabilities or additional needs. You can access the car park 24 hours a day - your car park ticket gives you pedestrian access out of hours. It also has electric vehicle charging points.
