From Monday 22nd May 2023, staff, patients and visitors will no longer be required to wear masks at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre

Last month, in response to increased local rates of respiratory viruses, we returned to mandatory mask-wearing across our sites.

We have been monitoring this situation and community incidences of respiratory infection are reducing and this is also reflected within our hospitals. Therefore, as of Monday 22nd May 2023 staff, patients and visitors will no longer be required to wear masks.

Masks will still be available if you choose to wear one and if you would like staff to wear a mask when caring for you, please feel free to ask.

If you have any concerns regarding this change of practice, please speak to your specialist care team.
