UPDATE: Friday 29th April
Our Liverpool shuttle bus operator Arriva says the temporary one-way system on Pembroke Place is now over.
The shuttle bus will use its normal route again:
- Bus stop on Pembroke Place / Daulby Street (outside the Dental Hospital)
- Bus stop at Paddington Village Car Park
From Wednesday 20th April for around 10 days:
We have been made aware of some temporary changes to the location of the shuttle bus stop at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre - Liverpool for around 10 days from Wednesday 20th April. This is due to essential works and a one-way road closure on Pembroke Place. The road will be closed coming from town past the Dental Hospital and turning right into Crown Street. It will stay open going the other way i.e. from Crown Street down into town.
When dropping off or picking up at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre - Liverpool, the shuttle bus will use the bus stop OPPOSITE the Dental Hospital while this road closure is in place, rather than the one outside the Dental Hospital. There is no change to the bus stop at Paddington Village Car Park.
We've been told the road closure is likely to last around 10 days (i.e. from 20th April to 29th April). A portion of Pembroke Place/West Derby St will be one-way for this time. The shuttle bus will therefore temporarily use the bus stop directly opposite the usual bus stop and travel towards Liverpool City Centre, turn onto Russell Street and travel back up Brownlow Hill towards Paddington Village Car Park. Drivers dropping off/picking up from the hospital will also need to follow that route.
