Clatterbridge’s new Innovation Manager has joined The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre to drive forward pioneering initiatives across the Trust.
Drew Norwood-Green has arrived to co-ordinate ground-breaking ideas and change at the Trust and also to build partnerships with strategic regional stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
The exciting new role within the R&I Directorate has been created to support innovation which is a key strategic priority for the Trust and Drew will oversee the running of the Innovation Office.
He will support teams across Clatterbridge to progress solutions to challenges, collaborating with stakeholders in industry and academia and seeking out and applying for new funding. Drew will also take forward innovations sent to the Trust’s Bright Ideas Scheme.
Drew, who arrives from The Christie where he was Associate Quality & Improvement Manager, said: “Moving into innovation felt like a natural step for me as I’ve always enjoyed finding better ways to do things.
“This post is an exciting opportunity to combine people who have brilliant ideas and the resources needed to bring those ideas to life.
“Innovation will become a new area of growth for the Trust which will complement our world class treatment and care.”
