Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (WUTH) are currently experiencing a major incident which has affected its computer systems. This incident has affected systems at Arrowe Park Hospital and Clatterbridge Hospital, which is a general hospital operating from Clatterbridge Health Park, the same site as Clatterbridge Cancer Centre – Wirral.
The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is working with our NHS partners and colleagues at WUTH to minimise the impact of the ongoing major incident. There is currently minimal impact on patient appointments at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre – all patients are asked to attend their appointments as normal. The situation is being continuously monitored.
