Dr Anna Olsson-Brown, medical oncology registrar at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, has written for the BMJ on the importance of quality improvement and how it can benefit patients.

In the piece, Dr Olsson-Brown stresses the importance of teamwork and the “implementation of small yet tangible chances and frequent evaluation” in projects.
