On Monday 26th May 2025, Liverpool Football Club will celebrate their Premier League title with a trophy parade through Liverpool. The event is coordinated with Merseyside Police, emergency services, and city departments, overseen by the Liverpool Safety Advisory Group (SAG).
Road closures will affect the parade route and nearby roads. The Queensway Tunnel will also be closed to inbound traffic from 12noon (with bus exceptions). The Kingsway Tunnel will remain open but is likely to be very busy.
If you are attending an appointment at CCC-Liverpool or visiting the inpatient wards, please be aware of the tunnel and road closures and plan an alternative route to avoid delays.
Amended public transport routes for bus, rail and ferry are available on the Merseytravel website. Merseyrail have also issued travel advice for the bank holiday weekend with key travel changes to Merseyrail services from Sunday 25th May.
