Dr Ibrahim studied in Egypt before moving to the UK to undertake specialist training. He trained in palliative medicine before completing clinical oncology training at the The Christie Hospital in Manchester. He joined The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in 2019 as consultant specialising in lung, head and neck cancers.

Since joining Clatterbridge Dr Ibrahim has been involved in medical education, supervising medical students and clinical oncology trainees, and has worked with the undergraduate committee of the Royal College of Radiologists.

Dr Ibrahim is an active recruiter to lung cancer and head and neck cancer clinical trials.
