Dr Dan Monnery

Dr Monnery joined The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre as a consultant in 2018 and is clinical lead for palliative and supportive care.

Dan is an honorary clinical lecturer at the University of Liverpool and was named NHS England National Clinical Advisor for Enhanced Supportive Care in 2021 due to his work on developing clinical outcome measures from early palliative care interventions. He now chairs the UK Association of Supportive Cancer Care (UKASCC) enhanced supportive care working group.

Alongside clinical work, Dan enjoys teaching and runs a number of teaching clinics as well as external education days for multi-professionals focusing on symptom control in cancer.
