Radiobiology courses
The 2015 Clatterbridge Cancer Centre course on "Radiobiology & Radiobiological Modelling in Radiotherapy" was held on 22nd - 26th March 2015 at the Leverhulme Hotel.
Details for the 2016 course will be posted here later in the year.
The annual course can accommodate up to 50 radiotherapy professionals - Radiation Oncologists, Therapy Radiographers, Medical and Health Physicists, Radiobiologists, PhD and MSc students.
Faculty members for 2015 included Don Chapman, former Head of Radiobiology at Fox Chase Cancer Centre in Philadelphia, Roger Dale (ex-Imperial College, London), Catharine West (The Christie and Manchester University), Navita Somaiah (Royal Marsden, London), Michael Brada (Professor of Radiation Oncology, CCC and Liverpool University), Charlie Deehan (formerly of Guys and St. Thomas', London), John Fenwick and Mike Partridge (Oxford Univ. Gray Institute), Trevor McMillan (Keele University) and Marco Schwarz (Proton Therapy Institute, Trento) as well as Physicists and Radiation Oncologists from The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
