Privacy - Canchat discussion forum

Only people who register can post messages on the forum, but anyone - registered or not - can read the messages.

Therefore, if you register and post messages or replies please bear in mind that what you type could be seen by anyone.

Please don't put your address, contact details, etc. into a message on the forum. If you want to give that information to someone and you're sure it's safe to do so, please use the Private Message feature.

When you register you may wish to choose the option to 'hide your email from other members'. You can also set this later on whenever you're signed in.

We have staff here at CCC who moderate the forum. They check it regularly and will deal with anything that crops up.

CCC is registered as a Data Controller with the Information Commissioner (reg no. Z7377711). That registration allows CCC to hold and process your information in order to provide the Canchat discussion forum. Your information, including your registration details and any posts you make on the forum, is stored on our approved computer system.
