A Clatterbridge patient has spoken about why she takes part in clinical trials at the Trust – and how others should become involved in cancer research.

Patient Moira Griffiths-Parr has CLL leukaemia and has been on three clinical research trials at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.

She talks about why she participates in the studies and gives advice to patients who may be considering taking part in a clinical trial.

You can watch Moira talking about clinical trials in this video on YouTube:

Moira is also talking about her experience of living with CLL at a major conference in Liverpool.

The CLL Support organisation is holding a conference at The Spine, in Paddington Village on Thursday, May 25th. The conference will be led by Professor Andy Pettitt, Consultant Haemato-oncologist and Associate Medical Director at Clatterbridge.

Moira will speak alongside Clatterbridge’s Jane Tinsley, Lead Haematology Research Nurse, at the conference.
