The Big Birthday BBQ!
As The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity celebrates it’s 25th anniversary, we are asking you to get outdoors and hold a Big Birthday BBQ on May Bank Holiday weekend.
The Charity was formed in 1996, when The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre introduced a fund, for those patients, their families and our community who wanted to give something back for the incredible care it provides. Today the Centre sees 36,000 patients every year, while donations to our charity help to improve facilities, fund groundbreaking research and develop new therapies which have shaped cancer care in our region.
Download your free Big BBQ pack, bursting with top barbecue tips, recipes, games and fundraising ideas along with how your donations will help to shape cancer care for the next 25 years.

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is one of the largest networked cancer centres in the UK
The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity is the only dedicated charity for patients and research at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. The Centre makes over 220,000 patient contacts to over 30,000 patients a year, offering pioneering chemotherapy, radiotherapy and proton therapy treatments from eighteen operating sites across Merseyside and Cheshire.
By choosing to support our charity, you will help us to improve patient experience, fund vital research, the latest therapies and innovations in cancer treatment.
We are so often told that The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is unlike any other hospital. We pride ourselves on providing an environment in which patients receive the best possible experience, with the special touches that mean so much. It is so important to us that we can do this for our patients, at our centres in Liverpool, Wirral and Aintree along with our network of chemotherapy clinics in hospitals across the region.
