At The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, we’re proud of our reputation for delivering outstanding cancer care and it’s down to the incredible people we employ – people who are not only experts in their field but who share the same commitment, compassion, warmth and team spirit.
The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is one of the UK’s leading cancer centres; bringing together expert staff, high-quality care and excellence in research we drive forward the development of new leading edge drugs and therapies to provide outstanding specialist care for patients.
The Trust is in the midst of an immensely exciting and challenging time delivering an ambitious £162 million capital build programme and service transformation programme, while continuing to provide outstanding, responsive and safe care to all of our patients.
Consistently rated one of the best-performing hospitals, in February 2017 The Care Quality Commission announced it rated the Trust as Outstanding.
The Trust’s Wirral-based treatment centre is supported by a radiotherapy satellite facility in Aintree, Liverpool and specialist chemotherapy clinics in six other Merseyside hospitals.
Together, this enables the Centre to provide a comprehensive range of radiotherapy (including low energy proton beam treatments for rare eye cancers) and chemotherapy treatments in outpatient and inpatient settings across Cheshire and Merseyside.
Treatment is also now being provided at home and in the workplace for suitable patients, with plans to extend the service to across a wider range of drugs and locations in coming years.
If you are looking to work for an ambitious Trust that seeks to set new standards for cancer care then we want to hear from you.
