Aiva Tambourini was four years old when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Wilms Disease, a rare form of kidney cancer that affects just 70 youngsters in the UK each year. Against all the odds, Aiva battled through until, six years later, the family were finally told that Aiva is cancer free.

Mum Angela told us “It’s been a very long journey to recovery, but the hospital teams who helped Aiva, especially Dr Thorp and the Team at Clatterbridge, gave us the greatest gift in the world, they gave us our daughters life.”
