Together we can transform cancer care for generations to come
Making a will is often one of those things that we put off until later in life and recent studies show that more than half of people in the UK don’t have one. Making a will is incredibly important and is the only legal way you can ensure your loved ones are taken care of and that your final wishes are met.
There are many ways in which you can write your will but most people choose to use a solicitor. We have partnered with firms across Merseyside and Cheshire who have come together in support of our Write a Will Month throughout November, agreeing to waive their usual fee, in return for a donation to The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
It is really easy to get involved with our Write a Will Month, simply make an appointment with any of the participating solicitors during the month of November. The solicitor will then draw up a basic single will in return for a suggested donation of £125 per single will, although the amount is completely at your discretion.
With the uncertainty that COVID-19 brings in 2020, this year’s Write a Will Month is more important than ever. A third of our services are funded by legacy gifts and without generous supporters kindly leaving a gift in their will, we would not be able to provide the outstanding care that Clatterbridge is highly regarded for. We know your loved ones come first when writing a will but by leaving us a gift in your will or by taking part in our Write a Will Month, you will be helping to improve our cancer care across our region for generations to come, including your loved ones if they were to ever need us.
If you decide to leave us a gift in your will, our charity is called The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity and our registered charity number is 1051727.
