Trek the Alps
When: 12 -17 September 2017
What: A Trek Challenge with breath taking views
Explore the Lakes and Mountains of Slovenia
Explore the dramatic and breathtaking scenery of Slovenia on this action-packed challenge. Little known outside of Slovenia, the Julian Alps are the eastern outpost of the Alpine mountain range. Our challenge is based in the stunning Triglav National Park (the only national park in Slovenia) located in the Julian Alps. We scale some of its majestic peaks and high mountain passes which soar dramatically above the lush green valleys below. Our exertions are rewarded with spectacular alpine scenery - glacial lakes, crystal-clear rivers, hidden gorges and snow-capped mountains. Afterwards there’s a couple of hours to explore the city of Bled in an awe-inspiring location on the banks of Lake Bled before flying home to the UK.
- Hike the Julian Alps, as dramatic as the Swiss & French Alps
- Summit two Alpine passes
- Explore the scenic Triglav National Park
- Discover Lake Bohinj & Lake Bled
Return flights from London to Ljubljana, accommodation (hotels and huts), transfers, full medical support, experienced guides, support staff, water and all meals except lunch on day 1 and day 6.
