Chester Half Marathon
When: Sunday 17 May 2020
Where: Chester City Centre
Fundraising: Raise what you can!
The Chester Half is one of the UK’s longest established and most highly regarded half marathons, starting and finishing in the historic Roman/Medieval international destination city of Chester.
This event is largely on a flat, fast, and rural route and is run entirely on closed roads. The Essar Chester 2019 Half Marathon starts at the famous Racecourse in the city centre, taking in the city centre sights then heading north-west out of the City on wide roads allowing runners to rapidly settle into the race, before returning back into the City for a memorable finish outside the Town Hall and Cathedral. Drinks stations, with bottled water, will be every 3 miles. There will be chip timing with splits at 5k, 10k, 15k and 20k.
All finishers will receive a technical T-shirt, bespoke medal and a goody bag.
Chester is a fantastic location to visit, so why not take advantage of the event and run for The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity in 2019. We are looking forward to the 38th Chester Half Marathon and hope that you choose to run with us.
The day will also include a 1 mile Fun Run for those who do not wish to run the full half marathon, here is an opportunity for you! The minimum age on race day is 17.
Once you have registered, the team at the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity will be in touch to talk everything Chester Half Marathon!
