The day will be packed full of fun for our four-legged fundraisers and their families, with a super special dog show and goody bags!

Walk starts at 10:00am
***THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART IN LEAD THE WAY 2019! PHOTOS BELOW***
A very popular location for dogs and their owners, we love Wirral Country Park and so cannot think of a better location in which to launch our very first 'Lead The Way'. Starting on the grass fields, we head out towards the coastal path and along, before heading down the steps to the beach. You'll then come to a 2km before 3.5km on the Wirral Way. For those completing the 6k route you have completed your walk, and for the 9.5k dogs you rejoin the beach at the sailing club and make your way along the beach, up the stairs, and to the finish back in the park!
How does it all work?
This is all about the dogs! But... we know you guys might need some help, so grab a human and click on the 'Register Here' button below! The events team at the charity will then be in touch from August 1 to send out your fundraising pack and information guide - this will also be made available online. The guide will provide you with full details of the event, where to park, and from what time and so on.
Your entry fee allows us to hold the event, but every penny your dog raises will help people with cancer across Merseyside and Cheshire.
The prize pup who raises the most cash, will become the face of 2020's Lead The Way!
I don't have a dog, can I still come?
Of course! While we are celebrating our dogs with this event, it's important to remember that we are all here to help transform cancer care in our region and continue the amazing care that The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is able to offer thanks to everyone's support.
*Please note that this route is unfortunately not suitable for prams or wheelchair users. The Wirral Way section will be available for anyone wishing to take part at any stage.*
Once you have registered, the team at the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity will be in touch to talk everything Lead The Way!
