Glow Green Highlights
Glow Green will start at the Museum of Liverpool.
The 8km route covers the entire City seeing some of the very best that Liverpool has to offer - including The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre - Liverpool, the very centre that the Charity and you, our incredible supporters have been fundraising for over the past six years!
Please keep an eye on our website and social media for all of our Glow Green: Night Walk updates. We will get our t-shirts and packs out to participants at the earliest possible opportunity, but with plenty of time to spare before the event. Postage for packs is charged at £3.50 and collection is available from January.
The last possible post for walker numbers and t-shirts is 29th January at 12:00.
Any registrations after the 29th January will require supporters to collect their t-shirt(s) and walker number(s) from the collection point within the Event Village on the 2nd February 2024.
As with all Charity events it's vitally important that we look to raise as much as we can for our cause, and Glow Green is no different!
For this event we ask that each participant fundraises a minimum of £20, or alternatively if you do not wish to fundraise we offer you the chance at registration to make a £20 donation per person then instead!
Registration fees help the Charity to cover the cost of staging the event, and the fundraising helps us to provide outstanding facilities and care to those who need The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in our region.
We are selling a wide range of neon merchandise in our signature shade of green for you to shine and brighten up Liverpool during your walk!
These will be available to purchase on the day only. We did previously sell online however we have now made an adjustment and will only be selling on the night from this point forward.
If you have already purchased your Neon Merchandise, do not worry as we will be in touch regarding how you will receive this.
Please note that to activate your neon merchandise all you need to do is snap and shake your glow sticks. After that, they will last for up to 8 hours - so plenty of time to 'glow off' with your family and friends!
We will be highlighting for you exactly what we have available for you to buy ahead of the event date.
Our Memory Lanterns were a fantastic success in 2022 & 2023 and we are delighted to bring them to you again for 2024. While the event will definitely have a celebratory mood, walkers will also have the opportunity to pause and reflect, as hundreds of lanterns will light up the steps of the Metropolitan Cathedral, each representing someone special.
We know how important it is to think of someone close to you, and whether you are taking part to support your loved ones or you are walking in memory of someone special our Memory Lanterns are the perfect way to celebrate and remember those who've been touched by The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
Our Memory Lanterns can be personalised with your own message of hope, love and support for those close to you and can be purchased in advance of Glow Green, or on the night and are priced at £5.
Once you have purchased your Celebration Lantern, we will deliver them to the steps of the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, where you are free to take a moment with your family and friends and remember someone special in your lives.
