We are pleased to announce that Jane Royds has been appointed as our Interim Director of Workforce and Organisational Development (OD) with effect from 31st March 2025 in a shared role with Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Jane Royds

Jane is a highly-experienced executive director and HR professional who has worked in the NHS for more than 30 years. She has been Chief People Officer at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital since November 2023, and previously worked at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. She also brings HR expertise from a wide range of other NHS organisations spanning primary care, mental health, community services and acute hospitals.
 
Jane will join The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre when our current Director of Workforce and OD, Jayne Shaw, retires at the end of March after almost 40 years in the NHS.

Jane will continue in her role as Chief People Officer at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital as well as being Director of Workforce and OD at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
