The Government and NHS in England want people's views on what should be in the new 10 Year Health Plan for the NHS in England, due to be published this spring. As part of this, we are running an online Change NHS workshop for patients, relatives and carers connected with The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
Event details
The Change NHS workshop will run:
3pm to 4pm, Tuesday 11th February 2025
This is an online workshop. It will take place via Microsoft Teams. We will send you a link to join the meeting.
How to register
The session will be run by staff from The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. We will send a summary of the main points people raise during the session to the national Change NHS team to help shape the new national 10 Year Health Plan for the NHS in England.
Note: The session is about the NHS and health services generally. It isn't specifically about services at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre or about cancer care.
What is Change NHS and the 10 Year Health Plan?
Change NHS is a nationwide campaign engaging with patients, staff and the wider public to help shape the new 10 Year Health Plan.
The 10 Year Health Plan will set out how to create a truly modern health service designed to meet the changing needs of our changing population. This will be focused on the three shifts that the Government, health service, and experts agree need to happen. This includes:
- Moving care from hospitals to communities
- Making better use of technology
- Focusing on preventing sickness, not just treating it
