A recent Radiotherapy Showcase, organised by The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, brought together professionals from across the region to discuss the latest innovations in treatment and the development of services.
Aiming to inspire on-going excellence in radiotherapy and ensure our patients continue to receive safe and high quality treatment, delegates discussed a range of topics from Clatterbridge’s leading palliative care service through to the benefits of our new Halcyon linear accelerator.
Representatives from organisations including Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance, Royal College of Radiographers and North West Radiotherapy Delivery Network all attended the event, which took place in March. The group also discussed how patients can continue to receive safe and high quality treatment, delivering the best outcomes and ensuring quality of life for those living with cancer.
