Do you want to know what cancer research and which clinical trials are being carried out at Clatterbridge?

You can now search through the hundreds of research studies taking place at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre – one of the UK’s leading NHS cancer research hospitals – using an easy to use digital tool on our website.

The search tool can find out what clinical trials are available by cancer type, which Clatterbridge consultant or clinician is running them, and which organisation is sponsoring the research.

The individual research study or clinical trial will have a name and when you click into the study information, you will see its basic details and an email address if you want to make contact about it.

As with all clinical trials and cancer research, patients need to fulfil eligibility criteria to be offered the opportunity to take part.

Brogan Johnson, Research Governance Facilitator, said: “We conduct a large number of studies and clinical trials here at Clatterbridge so we wanted to make it easier for patients, staff and the public to know exactly what research is taking place at our centre.

“The research finder digital tool makes it far easier for people to know what is on offer and how to get in touch with us about it.”
