Throughout November, the NHS is holding a series of face-to-face and online listening events, where people can hear more about the issues facing hospital gynaecology and maternity services and the NHS can hear their views. It is part of a six-week programme of public engagement from 15th October to 26th November.
The events are an opportunity to hear from clinicians who are involved in providing this care, and take part in small group discussions where they can share their views and give feedback on any care they have received.
There will be four face-to-face events taking place in community venues across Liverpool, Knowsley and Sefton, as well as two online events, and people are welcome to attend whichever event is most convenient for them. Details are listed at the bottom of this page.
Each event will follow the same format, so you only need to attend one option.
If you would like to attend, you must register. This is so the organisers can plan the events properly and know how many people to expect.
To register and inform the organisers if you have any additional requirements around access or language / communication, please email the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside team engagement team or call them on 0151 702 4353 (Monday to Friday, between 8:30am – 4:00pm).

If you can't attend an event
Those who are unable to attend a face-to-face or online event can still take part in the engagement process, and can find out more about the issues and complete a short questionnaire at: www.
Once the engagement closes on 26th November 2024, all responses gathered will be analysed by an independent organisation and put into a report, which is likely to be published in early 2025. This feedback will be used to help inform what happens next, including the development of any proposals for how hospital gynaecology and maternity services could look in the future.
